PART 1 // privacy policy

Privacy Policy

Flux.LA ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at flux.la. This policy describes what personal information we collect when you visit the site or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. We try to keep it readable. If anything is unclear, email hello@flux.la.

1.1 What we collect

We collect two categories of data:

Information you give us directly. When you submit our contact form at /work-with-us/, we collect the name, email address, company, budget range, and message you provide. We do not require you to create an account on flux.la — there are no logins.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our analytics providers collect standard technical information including IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and approximate location (country/region level) derived from your IP.

1.2 How we use it

  • To reply to inquiries you send through the contact form.
  • To measure aggregate site performance (traffic patterns, popular content, source channels) so we can improve what we publish.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and security threats.
  • To comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

1.3 Third-party services we use

flux.la is built on services that process data on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare — hosting (Cloudflare Pages), CDN, DNS, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may collect connection logs for security and performance. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Google — we load Google Tag Manager (container GTM-N6RP92L) which in turn loads Google Analytics. Google may set cookies and collect data per its privacy policy.
  • Resend — our contact form delivers your message to our inbox via Resend's email API. Resend processes the message contents in transit. See the Resend Privacy Policy.

1.4 Cookies and similar technologies

flux.la uses a small number of cookies and local browser storage:

  • Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager to measure how visitors use the site.
  • Theme preference stored in your browser's localStorage so the site remembers your light/dark mode choice. This never leaves your device.
  • Security cookies set by Cloudflare for bot protection.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect how the site functions for you.

1.5 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information. EU/UK residents have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have similar rights under the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@flux.la with the request. We will respond within 30 days.

1.6 Data retention

Contact form submissions live in our inbox until we resolve the conversation; we typically delete or archive within 12 months of the last reply. Analytics data is retained according to the configured Google Analytics retention period.

1.7 Children

flux.la is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email hello@flux.la and we will delete it.

1.8 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do, and material changes will be noted on the page for a reasonable period.

1.9 Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy or our handling of your data: hello@flux.la.

PART 2 // terms of service

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the flux.la website and the free content, tools, and resources we publish on it. By using flux.la, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

These Terms cover the website only. Paid engagements with Flux.LA are governed by a separate written agreement (statement of work or services agreement) signed by both parties, not by these Terms.

2.1 Acceptable use

You agree to use flux.la lawfully and not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, our infrastructure, or accounts.
  • Scrape, mirror, or systematically extract content from the site in ways that violate these Terms or applicable law. Standard browsing, search-engine indexing, and AI assistants summarizing our published content for users are welcome.
  • Use the contact form to send spam, phishing, malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing.
  • Interfere with the operation of the site, including by deploying bots, scripts, or denial-of-service techniques.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when interacting with us.

2.2 Our content

All content on flux.la — including articles, case studies, designs, code samples, graphics, and the "Flux" name and gradient mark — is owned by Flux.LA or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

You may quote brief excerpts of our articles with attribution and a link back to the source page. You may share our articles on social platforms and link to them freely. You may not republish full articles, reproduce our case studies, or use our brand assets to imply endorsement without written permission.

2.3 Submissions and feedback

If you send us a message through the contact form, comments, or any other channel — including pitches, feedback, or suggestions — you grant Flux.LA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that feedback to improve our services. We treat the substance of project inquiries as confidential and do not share specifics publicly without your permission.

2.4 Third-party links and references

flux.la links to and references third-party websites, products, and services (clients, tools, vendors). We're not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties, and including a link or mention is not an endorsement.

2.5 Disclaimers

The content on flux.la — including articles about SEO, GEO, marketing, and business strategy — is provided for general informational purposes. It is not professional, legal, financial, tax, or marketing advice for your specific situation. Marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. Anything you read here, you use at your own risk.

flux.la is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, secure, or available without interruption.

2.6 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flux.LA, its founders, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of flux.la — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising from your use of flux.la will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

2.7 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Flux.LA from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.

2.8 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to flux.la at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms.

2.9 Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or flux.la will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

2.10 Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of flux.la after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
